The Official Rori Olen 2010 19th Congressional District Exploratory Committee

It is with great joy and excitement that I officially announce my 19th Congressional District Exploratory Committee.

I am seriously looking into running for Congress to represent parts of Rockland, Westchester, Orange and Putnam Counties. The recent election and appointment of our new Senator Gillibrand has inspired me to form a committee to explore the possibility of me running for office.

Our nation, state and counties are dealing with tough issues that effect everyone. I truly believe my insight and knowledge is what is needed to help our district. I want to be the voice of the people in the 19th District.

I will be using this website to express some of my views on key issues that affect our counties and the nation as a whole.

Issues that are most important to me on a national level are stem cell research, education, homeland security, the middle east, and gay rights.

Locally, I will be very focused on taxes, utilizing the land where the Nanuet Mall is, funding for education and after school programs and developing a better commuting system into New York City.

As Brett Olen, my campaign manager said, I will be the true Maverick. A smart Sarah Palin!
